The UPHCA Academy’s HVACR Program is an industry-driven training pathway designed for individuals seeking a hands-on, in-demand career and for employers looking for job-ready technicians. This program combines technical instruction, safety, and real-world applications used every day by licensed HVACR contractors.  This Hybrid program is designed to meet industry requirements while providing flexibility, offering an online curriculum, and allowing students to self-pace their progress.

Students gain practical experience with residential and commercial heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems while learning the skills, professionalism, and work ethic required to succeed in the mechanical trades.  The advantage this program provides is the potential of ‘Earning while Learning’!  The Academy will work with the student to secure employment while the student is enrolled in the program.  The curriculum is based off of the

REFRIGERATION & AIR CONDITIONING TECHNOLOGY, 10th Edition, is the digital learning solution that powers students from memorization to mastery. It gives you complete control of your course to provide engaging content, challenge every individual and build their confidence. Empower students to accelerate their progress with MindTap.  There is added content that provides our students to understand local conditions and requirements.  This includes RMGA certification and EPA 608.

The program cost for the 9  – 10 Month program (Self-paced) – $3,550

The entire curriculum is online, with occasional labs at the Academy to show competency.  If a student prefers a hardback textbook, it will be available at cost.
